Design & Style
The So Soul X7000 looks more like a pod mod than most other disposables on the market.
This is due to its rectangular design and rugged styling. It has grooves on either side of the device, which act as grips when you hold it in the palm of your hand. There is also a grained texture along the front and back.
However, it is still a lightweight disposable as it’s primarily made of ABS. For the capacity, it’s not too big, measuring 112 x 30 x 30mm.
All of the X7000s have a main black body, and then the top section is color-coded to denote the flavor inside. The flavor is also printed on the color section.
The mouthpiece for the X7000 is a little chunky but matches the rest of the style. It reminds me of the original Smok Nord-style mouthpieces.
On the base of the X7000, you have two small air holes. One of which has a Blue LED light behind it that will light up when the device is active and flash when the battery is depleted.
In the center of the base is the USB-C port for recharging. As with most disposables, it doesn’t come with a cable included (to keep costs down) and doesn’t have the fastest charge speed.
Lemon, Strawberry, Pie
It’s a well-rounded flavor combination. You get the sharp tart lemon immediately on the inhale. It’s all surrounded by a crumbly pastry goodness throughout the vape.
Then on the exhale, there’s the slight sweet punch of strawberry. It’s not overly sweet, and there’s not a hint of cooling agent, which is great on both parts.
Pineapple, Banana, Coconut
My favorite of the three flavors. It’s a tropical delight and a really great combination of flavors.
The Pineapple and Coconut are the prominent two flavors throughout the vape. They are blended perfectly together and deliver a great combination of a sweet and slightly nutty mix.
The Banana is subtle, supporting all the way through to give a real depth to the overall profile – a really enjoyable tropical fruit vape.
If you’ve tried any other watermelon Ice flavored disposable on the market and enjoyed it, then you’ll like this one.
It’s a no messing straight-up Watermelon Ice. The watermelon is sweet, and juicy throughout, and the menthol hit from the Ice is well balanced – a solid choice.
The X7000, for such a large capacity, rugged-looking disposable device, has quite a tight MTL draw. I was a little surprised when I took my first drag, as I expected it to be on the loose MTL side.
It’s not an incredibly tight MTL draw, but it’s tighter than most I’ve tried and would suit those that like a medium MTL draw.
The 5% (50mg) devices we had in for review deliver a definite throat hit and an ample amount of vaper. The 1.2Ω mesh coil does a very good job of delivering pronounced flavor.
The X7000 is also fairly instant on the draw, thanks to the mesh coil and a very responsive auto-draw switch.
I can’t complain about the flavors So Soul gave us to test. All are very authentic and deliver flavors accurate to their descriptions. I particularly liked the Pineapple, Banana & Coconut; it was a real tropical treat that didn’t get too sickly.
I hope the rest of the flavor range is on par with what I’ve tried so far.
While I didn’t count the exact puffs the X7000 delivered, I can tell you it is a trooper and feels like it gets close to the 7000 puffs advertised. The 600mAh battery also does a good job of lasting thanks to the 1.2Ω coil. However, the charge time isn’t the fastest, as is often the case with rechargeable disposables.
The So Soul X7000 disposable bar range is quite an impressive line of disposables.
While it doesn’t have the premium feel as some others on the market, it does have a rugged styling that’s a bit different. It still has good build quality and is pocket-friendly and lightweight for such a high-capacity disposable
There’s a very good selection of flavors in two different nicotine strengths, which is always a plus for a disposable range.
The device delivers good flavor thanks to the 1.2Ω mesh coil. I found the airflow good for a medium MTL draw, but some might find it a little too tight if moving from a different brand.
